Minimotion 2010 Animation Competition

The anniversary edition of Minimotion 2010 is in the pipline! Minimotion – an association that aims to hold a 10 Seconds Animation Competition every year celebrates its 5th anniversary.

Minimotion is looking for minimal animations exploring the area between a single image and animation. Send your 10 second animations.

A selection of the submitted works will be presented on 20th November 2010 in Zürich.

Objective

Submit 10 second animated films following the specific rules.

Prizes

Selected films will be awarded and presented in November 2010 in Zurich.

Rules

  • A maxiumum of 3 films may be submitted per person.
  • Size: 1280 × 720 pixels
  • 2 files per submission:
    • 1 × Quicktime-Format uncompressed
    • 1 × Quicktime-Format H264 – Squared pixel, 25 frames per second
  • Titles: Both files must be labeled with the work’s title.
  • Submission medium: CD only (CDs will not be returned)
  • Length: exactly 10 seconds
  • Sound: optional, volume: 82 dB Leq
  • Important: the first frame must not be black.
  • Don’t include your name in the 10 second film, each animation will be introduced with the name of the filmmaker by Minimotion.
