National and International Residency Program 2011 – Triangle Arts Association

Triangle Arts is dedicated to advancing the work of emerging and underrepresented visual artists through its short-term workshops and long-term residency programs.

The Triangle Artist’s Residency Program provides free studio space to eligible artists for a six month period. Studios are located at 20 Jay Street in Brooklyn, NY.

Applications for the 2011 Triangle Arts residency program are now being accepted.

Target Group

Triangle Arts is looking for emerging and underrepresented visual artists.

  • Applicants must be professional artists and not enrolled in any degree program.
  • Artists working in any medium are accepted.
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older.
  • All national and international applicants are welcome.
  • You can submit up to 8 pieces of art.
  • Maximum digital file size of submitted artwork 1200×1200 pixels, 72 DPI.
  • All Artwork must be submitted in JPG format.

Duration

The Triangle Artist’s Residency Program provides free studio space to eligible artists for a six month period.

Residency Value

The Triangle Artist’s Residency Program provides free studio space to eligible artists. Each artist’s stay culminates in an Open Studio exhibition to which the general public is invited. Resident artists will also receive studio visits from critics, writers and curators.

Artists are responsible for all other expenses, including housing, travel, and meals.

Studios are located at 20 Jay Street in Brooklyn, NY. Artists have full access to their studios 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If accepted, artists must spend a minimum of 15 hours a week in the studios or will be asked to leave the program.
