New York International Children’s Film Festival 2014

Submissions are now open for the New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF) 2014!

Creative, original, non-formulaic works that will help to define a new, more compelling film for kids are eligible for submission. Films with mature themes, subject matter, language or sensibilities are eligible as well.

The Festival accepts both Short (under 40 minutes) and Feature films (40 minutes or longer) and is competitive.

As NYICFF is an Oscar Qualifying Festival, the recipients of the NYICFF jury prizes will be eligible for consideration in the Live Action Short and Animated Short Film categories of the Annual Academy Awards®.

The New York International Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF) was founded in 1997 to promote intelligent, passionate, provocative cinematic works for ages 3-18 and to help define a more compelling film for kids. Since its launch, the event has grown to become the largest festival for children and teens in North America.

NYICFF 2014 is scheduled for 7th – 30th March, 2014 and will take place at venues throughout NYC.
