Submissions are open for the Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2024. The focus is on the topics that are the most meaningful, pressing and present in our world. Diversity of subject matter and styles is welcomed. Short film submissions are accepted across multiple genres: Animation, Artists’ Film, Comedy, Dance, Drama, Experimental, Fashion, Music Video and Thriller. Selected films will screen in competition and be eligible for coveted awards, including Best in Category and the Best of Festival Award. The festival is BAFTA-Qualifying for short films and £5,000 of cash prizes are up for grabs.

Submissions are now open for the 2020 edition of the BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival. The Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF), founded in 2011, is an international film festival taking place at the beginning of November in the UK. It is a celebration of independent film from around the world, and an outlet for supporting and championing filmmaking. ASFF is a hotbed for talent discovery and a key annual event for emerging and established filmmakers to meet alongside industry professionals. British and international films are in competition in their category for an award, alongside the Best of Festival Award, Audience Award and Best Screenplay.

Hosted by Aesthetica Magazine, the Aesthetica Art Prize is a celebration of excellence in art from across the world and open for entries for 2019.
