Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) has launched the 14th edition of its HRD Awards diamond jewellery design competition. The theme of the HRD Awards 2011 is “You and Me.” The biennially held competition is widely considered to be the world’s leading diamond jewellery design contest, and in the past it has proven to be a valuable stepping stone for young designers on their way to successful careers in the jewellery industry. The competition’s goal is to foster creative talent, with entrants encouraged to let their imaginations soar, and then translate them into innovative jewellery.
