Art Olympia Executive Committee, in collaboration with Living National Treasure Museum, is hosting the Art Olympia 2019 International Open Art Competition. Art Olympia is an open art competition held as a biennial event with the goal of discovering talented artists from around the world and supporting their art activities. Approximately 160 artworks (80 from Japan and 80 worldwide) will be selected and undergo a final review in Tokyo by a panel of esteemed judges invited from around the world. In addition, 1,000 artists will be honored. The first place winner will receive $120,000.

Art Olympia is hosting its 2nd biannual International Open Art Competition and accepts art works for 2017, from artists around the world. The competition is held with the goal of discovering talented artists around the world and supporting their activities. It aims to promote exchanges of the world’s various cultures through arts. Artworks of approximately 180 pieces (80 pieces from Japan and 100 pieces outside of Japan) will be selected and undergo a final review in Tokyo by a panel of great judges invited from around the world. For All-Entrants Category, the first prize winner will receive $120,000, the second prize winner $30,000, and the third prize winner $20,000 along with the Art Olympia original trophies. The fourth prize winner will receive $3,000, the fifth $2,000, and the sixth $1,000.

Art Olympia 2015 is a new biannual international open art competition, with a goal to discover and support talented artists, so that their art careers may flourish. With this competition, the organizer – Art Olympia, also aims to promote world’s cultural exchanges through art. Two-dimensional original artworks, which can be representational or abstract (excluding photography, calligraphy, video, sculpture, and group/collaboration works), are eligible for submission. A total of $500,000 will be given out in cash awards and prizes to 240 select artists from all over the world.
