The 7th Annual Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival has recently started accepting submissions for 2016 from professional and amateur filmmakers around the world. Films about bicycle travel of any type, ranging from 3 to 60 minutes are eligible for entry. The best films will be awarded with a Grand Jury prize, an Audience prize and three more prizes as well as screened in the Regent Theatre, Arlington in June 2016.

The 6th Annual Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival invites amateur and professional filmmakers to submit bicycle travel films ranging from 3 to 60 minutes and enter the Festival’s competitive program. Films must feature bicycle travel of any type: organized tour or informal travel, domestic or international. One of our best-received films involved an “epic” 12 mile journey not far from home – so there’s no need to jump on a plane to get a great film. In addition to the Grand Jury prize and the Audience Award, there will be a Bay State prize, for the best film submitted by a Massachusetts resident. This award will include some first-class Massachusetts goodies! There’s also an “Alumni” category for those who have been on a Ciclismo Classico Tour.

The 5th Annual Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival invites filmmakers to submit for consideration bicycle travel films ranging from 3 to 60 minutes. Films should feature bicycle travel of any type: organized tour or informal travel, domestic or international. In 2014, a Grand Jury Prize will be voted on by the Festival Jury of top bicycle, travel, and film festival directors and an additional Audience Prize will be announced. In addition to the Grand Jury prize and the Audience Award, the Bay State prize will be awarded to the best film submitted by a Massachusetts resident. The organizers seek films that portray a broad range of experiences – destinations ranging from small African villages to a campground 30 miles from home; solo travel or a family reunion on bicycles; an organized tour from inn to inn or a shoestring jaunt with tent and sleeping bag.

The 4th Annual Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival invites professional and amateur filmmakers to submit for consideration films ranging from 3 to 60 minutes. This is the only festival in the USA to focus solely on bicycle travel. Entry is free until 1 February 2013! Films should feature bicycle travel of any type: organized tour or informal travel, domestic or international. A Grand Jury Prize + an Audience Prize will be awarded in 2013. The Festival is scheduled for 21 May 2013 at the Regent Theatre, Arlington, Massachusetts.

Films should center on bicycle travel of any type, whether an organized tour or a solo exploration. The destination can be domestic or international. The World on Wheels is the only film festival in the USA that focuses specifically on bicycle travel.
