The 23rd edition of the animago Award – the worldwide renowned competition in the field of 3D animation & still, visual effects, visualization & design, is open for submissions, for 2019. Among those entitled to participle in the animago are studios, film production companies, agencies, freelancers, private individuals, students and graduates of universities and professional training institutes all over the globe. This year, the coveted animago trophy will be awarded in 10 categories, with “Best In-Game Graphics” being a brand new category for 2019.

The Digital Production magazine has recently opened the animago Award 2016 digital art competition, which is being held for the 20th time. The animago Award focuses on 3D Animation & Still, Visual Effects and Visualization and is open to studios, film production companies, agencies, freelancers, private individuals, students and graduates of universities and professional training institutes all over the globe. The creators behind all projects that receive nominations will be invited to attend the animago Award Ceremony, which will take place during the two-day animago Award & Conference, 27–28 October 2016.

Digital Production magazine has recently opened the animago Award 2015 competition, its 19th digital art competition open to artists around the world. The Award has been acknowledging the best works in the fields of 3D animation & still, visual effects and visualization since 1997. Participation in the competition is free of charge and worthwhile for both professionals and newcomers. Individuals who send in their productions are not just subjecting their work to the vote of the independent jury; they are also taking advantage of the opportunity to showcase their abilities within the industry. This year’s Best Young Production will be awarded with 3,000 Euro.
