In 2022, the international furniture and interiors fair imm cologne will once again be holding its popular design contest for up-and-coming talents, the Pure Talents Contest, which numbers among the world’s most highly recognized competitions for promoting young creatives. As of now, design students and graduates who qualified no longer than three years ago can register for the Pure Talents Contest 2022 and enter their designs for contemporary, sustainable objects for the home in the six categories: furniture, floor coverings, wallpapers and textiles, lighting, smart home and home accessories. Once again young creatives from across the world are invited to submit their individual or group works for a highly diverse range of furniture categories. The coronavirus pandemic poses new challenges for the Pure Talents Contest (PTC), the competition for up-and-coming designers hosted by the Interior Business Event imm cologne. Within the final jury the first three winners of the competition are selected and awarded with a prize money of 3,000 Euro for the 1st Prize, 2,000 Euro for the 2nd Prize and 1,000 Euro for the 3rd Prize.

The first three Prizes and the new Audience Prize for the best products are endowed with a prize money. The Pure Talents Contest, organised by imm cologne, one of the largest tradeshows for interior design worldwide, is one of the most prestigious awards for young product designers. Over the last sixteen years 456 products from 503 international designers had been presented in the annual exhibition during imm cologne. In its seventeenth edition in 2020 again up to 20 designers or designer groups will be invited to Cologne to present their prototypes to the interior design business in the special exhibition of the Pure Talents Contest.

imm cologne’s Pure Talents Contest, one of the best known international competitions for young designers, is open for entries for 2019. Entries are sought from design students and young designers from around the world who have gained their degree not more than three years ago, with a graduation date after 1 January 2015. Applications will also be accepted from groups consisting of a maximum of three people which have to be named upon entry in the competition. From the applications received, the international jury will nominate a maximum of 20 products, whose designers will be invited to take part in the competition and thereby in the exhibition at imm cologne 2019. In the course of the LivingKitchen Selection 6 concepts will be selected and presented in a separate exhibition at the LivingKitchen 2019. Out of these nominees the international Jury will award the first three prizes of the Pure Talents Contest 2019 as well as the winner of the LivingKitchen Selection. A total of 9,000 Euro will be awarded in money prizes.

The Pure Talents Contest, one of the best known international competitions for young designers, is currently accepting entries for 2018. Organized by one of the largest trade show for interior design worldwide – imm cologne – the contest became the platform for emerging young designers where they could present their products to a wide audience and could achieve first contacts within the interior design business. All the products included in the exhibition will be on display from 15 to 21 January 2018 at imm cologne 2018. All selected participants will receive the Pure Talents Contest Nominee label. During the trade show, a total of 6,000 Euro will be awarded in prize money, of which 3,000 Euro are reserved for the 1st Prize, 2,000 Euro for the 2nd prize and 1,000 Euro for the third.
