Interference Foundation – the main organizer of the Interference Festival of Visual Communication Forms in Gdańsk – is pleased to open the contest “Freedom of Form” for 2018, inviting entries of visual works. The contest is addressed to individual authors as well as companies, legal persons, organizations, institutions, and artist collectives. Its main aim is to select the best, the most aesthetically and creatively outstanding short visual works in two main categories. The Grand Prix in amount of 2,500 zł sponsored by the City of Gdańsk will be awarded in both main categories. In addition, one Audience prize of 2,000 zł will also be awarded.

As part of the Interference Festival 2017, the Interference Foundation is hosting an open visual communication contest, called “Freedom of Form”. Artists around the world are invited to participate with a maximum of three (3) short visual works. The best works in each competition category will earn a Grand Prix Award of 2,500 Polish złoty – almost $700 US. All nominated works, to be announced until 17 September 2017, will be screened during the Interference Festival in October 2017.

The Competition is open for visual works in one of four main competition categories and it aims to recognise outstanding short visual productions, both commercial and non-commercial. Interference Foundation, the organizer of the Interference Festival of Visual Communication Forms in Gdańsk, is currently accepting visual works for the 2015 “Freedom of Form” open competition. The Competition has four (4) main categories and its aim is to recognize outstanding short visual productions, both commercial and non-commercial. Ten (10) prizes will be awarded in total, including four (4) Grand Prix prizes of 500 Euro (gross value) in each category. Two special prizes for “Innovative Visuality” and “Lifetime Achievement and Exceptional Aesthetic Sensitivity”, an Audience Prize and a “Prize for Outstanding Young Author [aged 18 to 28]” will also be awarded.
