As part of the Interference Festival 2017, the Interference Foundation is hosting an open visual communication contest, called “Freedom of Form”.
Artists around the world are invited to participate with a maximum of three (3) short visual works.
The best works in each competition category will earn a Grand Prix Award of 2,500 Polish złoty – almost $700 US. All nominated works, to be announced until 17 September 2017, will be screened during the Interference Festival in October 2017.
An Audience prize and a Special prize for lifetime achievement and exceptional aesthetic sensitivity will also be awarded.
Entries are accepted in the following competition categories:
- Found Footage (max 5 min)
- Music Video (max 10 min)
- Creative Advertising Piece (max 5 min)
- Experimental Short Visual Form (max 8 min)
Only entry works made in 2015-2017 will be considered.
The Interference Festival is held in the city of Gdańsk, in Poland on 20th-21st October 2017, and the official announcement of the winners will take place during the Prize-Giving Ceremony on 21st October 2017. This international competition constitutes a key part of the Festival.
