As an internationally established forum for cultural education and exchange, the NordArt has dedicated itself to the task of enhancing mutual understanding through the language of art. Each year one artist is awarded the NordArt-Prize — worth 10,000 Euro — with the aim to support the art and culture scene. A Public Choice Award is awarded as well, thanks to the votes the visitors of the NordArt cast to their favorite artist. The 2019 Exhibition is scheduled for 1 June – 6 October 2019.

The 2016 NordArt annual international exhibition of visual arts and competition has opened for submissions from artists worldwide. The Kunstwerk Carlshütte non-profit cultural initiative is once again hosting one of the largest juried exhibition of contemporary art in Europe, representing all facets of visual arts. Each year one artist is awarded the NordArt-Prize worth 10,000 Euro and invited to participate again in the next NordArt exhibition. One Public Choice Award is awarded as well and approximately 10 artists get invited on the international NordArt Symposium, which precedes the annual exhibition.

Kunstwerk Carlshütte has opened the 2015 call for applications for NordArt, one of the largest juried exhibition of contemporary art in Europe. The NordArt juried exhibition represents all facets of visual arts and annually selects some 250 selected artists from all over the world. To support the art and culture scene, each year one artist is awarded the NordArt-Prize, worth 10,000 Euro! Three artists will also be selected for the Public Choice Award, worth three times 1,000 Euro. The NortArt 2015 exhibition is scheduled for 6th June through 4th October, 2015 at the old foundry building in the Carlshütte (22,000 sqm), ACO Wagenremise (400 sqm), a 80,000 square metre sculpture park, as well as public spaces in the town of Büdelsdorf, Germany.

Visual artists around the world can now submit applications for the international exhibition NordArt 2013. Kunstwerk Carlshütte, a non-profit initiative of the ACO Group, and the towns of Büdelsdorf and Rendsburg, organises the NordArt, an annual international exhibition of visual arts from June to the beginning of October. The art exhibited at NordArt is selected by a jury and features all visual art media. The exhibition in summer 2012 displayed the work of 245 artists from 50 countries, selected from 2000 applications from 84 countries.
