The LuganoAward photo contest evolves and becomes Swiss Storytelling Photo Grant for its ninth edition. The theme is: Storytelling (Reportage, Documentary, Wildlife Conservation, Environment…) One prize of 3,000 CHF in cash will be awarded to the best photo series. In addition, the winning work will receive extensive media coverage and publication on LuganoPhotoDays channels.

Now in its ninth year, the LuganoPhotoDays festival is accepting entries to its photo contests for 2020, open to all adult photographers from around the world. This year’s LuganoPhotoDays’ contests include: IBSA Foundation COVID-19, Wildlife and Nature 2020 and Reportage and Documentary 2020. One winner will be selected in each contest and awarded with 750 CHF in cash. In addition, there will be an overall winner awarded with the “LuganoAward 2020” prize, which consists of 3,000 CHF in cash, offered by the City of Lugano.

Now in its eight year, the LuganoPhotoDays festival is accepting entries for its Photo Contest for 2019, which is open to all adult photographers worldwide. This year the photo contest has two categories: Reportage and documentary and Wildlife and nature. For both categories participants have to submit a serie (or more) composed from 6 to 12 photos. The total value of the prizes is more than 10,000 CHF, of which 3,000 CHF are reserved for “Premio Città di Lugano” – a prize offered by the City of Lugano.
