Now in its eight year, the LuganoPhotoDays festival is accepting entries for its Photo Contest for 2019, which is open to all adult photographers worldwide.
This year the photo contest has two categories: Reportage and documentary and Wildlife and nature. For both categories participants have to submit a serie (or more) composed from 6 to 12 photos.
The total value of the prizes is more than 10,000 CHF, of which 3,000 CHF are reserved for “Premio Città di Lugano” – a prize offered by the City of Lugano.
The contest is open for all professional and non-professional photographers, who have reached the age of 18 on the closing date of the contest.
LuganoPhotoDays was born in early 2012 from an idea of Marco Cortesi. The festival is organized by the non-profit association of the same name based in Lugano (Switzerland).
LuganoPhotoDays 2019 is scheduled for 11–27 October 2019 at Ex Macello, Viale Cassarate 8, 6900 Lugano, Switzerland. The award ceremony will take place during the LuganoPhotoDays opening night on 11 October 2019. Category winners will be invited to the award ceremony.
LuganoPhotoDays Photo Contest 2019 – Registration Fees
The registration fee for a the first submission is 25 CHF. Each additional serie registration costs 15 CHF.
