Matt Roberts Arts is currently calling for entries for the 2012 Salon Art Prize. This year, for the sixth time, through this multidisciplinary art prize, the organizers will be selecting, awarding and exhibiting international art projects. Over the past five years the Salon Art Prize has exhibited 428 artists and welcomed over 9700 visitors to its gallery in East London. To celebrate this success the organizers will be moving to a larger gallery space to accommodate more artists per exhibition and will also offer an overall prize fund of £10,500. Salon Art Prize 2012 is Currently Accepting SubmissionsThis year the organizers will be accepting: Painting, Sculpture and Installation (including sound), 2-D Media (which includes drawing, collage, printmaking etc), and Photography. Video won’t be considered for the Salon Art Prize 2012.

Matt Roberts Arts is inviting you to send submissions for the Salon Art Prize 2011. Paintings, sculptures, installations and 2-D media (drawings, collages, printmakings etc) are eligible. The Salon Art Prize 2011 is the fifth annual open submission exhibition produced by Matt Roberts Arts, which will take place at Matt Roberts Arts gallery on Vyner Street in East London. The exhibition will take place from the 7th – 29th October, 2011. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Salon Art Prize, Matt Roberts Arts will be offering a separate prize of £1000 for each of the four categories.

Since 2007, Matt Roberts Arts has produced an annual Salon exhibition, supporting 244 artists and photographers and receiving over 2800 visitors. The Salon Art Prize incorporates Painting, Sculpture and Installation (including sound), and 2-D Media (which includes drawing, collage, printmaking etc). The exhibition will open on 7th October, 2010. Matt Roberts Arts expects to exhibit up to 100 artists in their gallery on Vyner Street in East London with one exhibitor winning the selectors’ prize – £1000 and a solo exhibition in 2011.
