Salon Art Prize 2010

Since 2007, Matt Roberts Arts has produced an annual Salon exhibition, supporting 244 artists and photographers and receiving over 2800 visitors.

The Salon Art Prize incorporates Painting, Sculpture and Installation (including sound), and 2-D Media (which includes drawing, collage, printmaking etc). The exhibition will open on 7th October, 2010.

Matt Roberts Arts expects to exhibit up to 100 artists in their gallery on Vyner Street in East London with one exhibitor winning the selectors’ prize – £1000 and a solo exhibition in 2011.

Submit works in the following categories:

  • Painting
  • Sculpture and
  • 2-D Media (Drawing, Printmaking, Collage etc.)

It is possible to submit a mixed media application (for example: one painting, one drawing and a sculpture) however you must choose a single category that best describes your overall practice or else based on which selector you would like to have primary responsibility for your application.

One exhibitor will win a Selectors’ Prize of £1,000 and a solo exhibition at Matt Roberts Arts’ gallery in 2011 supported by John Jones. All exhibited works will be considered for the Selectors’ Prize.
