Тhe Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center, with the supervision and support by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of R.O.C., is hosting the 24th International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC). IBDC is a platform for bicycle creative design and innovative ideas. With entries exchanged by people with different nationalities, culture, or lifestyles every year, IBDC hopes that newer and more innovative designs can be created. Moreover, by participating in this competition, entrants can not only showcase their entries to others, but also gain knowledge and learn perspective from others. This year, the theme of competition is “Intelligence, Sustainability, and Living from Heart”. With these three values, IBDC hopes that more bicycles can be created with intelligent technology, sustainable ideas, and sensible design to provide people another option or style of transportation and living. If you have any fantastic ideas, do not hesitate to participate in this competition and share your ideas with everyone.

Taiwan International Graphic Design Award (TIGDA) 2021 competition has opened for entries and designers from all regions and countries are invited to participate.​ TIGDA has already conducted 10 times, and attracted more than 5,000 outstanding design works through the years. More than 20 separate awards – medals and certificates – will be announced in November 2021 and the best works will be features in a special publication prepared by the organizer, exhibited and collected in the Tung Fang Design University – Shigeo Fukuda Design Museum.

The Department of Commerce of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of China and China Productivity Center (CPC), together with their collaborators are inviting graphic designers around the world to enter the 2013 Taiwan International Graphic Design Award competition. The organizers are looking for innovative works in the categories “Poster design” and “CI (Corporate Identity) design”, offering a prize of US$ 5,000 for the top winner. The competition is hosted to publicly select outstanding works with international standard, effectively promote the capacity of Taiwan’s commercial design, advance opportunities for the local commercial design services to interact with international counterparts, as well as establish Taiwan International Design Award brand.
