Model Young Package is a global design competition connecting emerging talents with experienced packaging professionals. This year’s theme, Unpacking Taboo, invites you to challenge conventions and explore what’s often left unspoken. Design packaging that goes beyond protection – create a paper-based prototype that sparks dialogue, breaks stigmas, and brings sensitive topics into everyday life. Think of intimate care, sexual wellness products, alternative ways of therapy, household items free from stereotypes or mental health support. Your design should be functional, respectful, and socially aware.

Join the Model Young Package contest and revolutionize sweets packaging! Design a prototype for “Sweets in a Box” that protects, preserves, and delights. The competition is open to participants aged 15 and above, from students to professionals. The prize pool is 28,000 Euro.

Up-and-coming talents aged 15 and over can submit their prototypes for innovative beverage packaging in digital form by 31 March 2023, in line with the “Thirsty for Packaging” theme. What is needed is beverage packaging that has never existed before. Refreshing, sustainable, unusual. In May 2023, a jury will select the best designs from all submitted packaging.
