The Municipality of Burgas and the Burgas 2032 Foundation are excited to announces the launch of the international architecture competition A Space for Contemporary Art and Culture – Park Zone 3. The aim is to transform the colloquially known central “hole” in the heart of Burgas into a vibrant hub for art, culture, and community. The project is a significant step in the development of the urban environment and public spaces in Burgas. A total of 110,000 Euro will be awarded to the best 3 projects and 2 honorable mentions. The 1st prize is 50,000 Euro!

The Municipality of Pazardzhik in Bulgaria announces the launch of an international architectural competition aimed at transforming the iconic area of the City Market and turning it into the heart of a modern city. Optimistas is hosting an International architectural competition for the reconstruction, improvement and development of the urban environment in the area around the Market Square of Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. The competition is organized due to the Municipality of Stara Zagora’s demand for complete concept for the development, improvement and design of the urban environment and an idea solution for “Pazarska” str. and the square space behind the department store, locked between the “Tsar Simeon the Veliki” Blvd., “Russki” Blvd., “Knyaz Boris” str. and “Kolyo Ganchev’ str., Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. A total of 17,500 Euro will be awarded to the best three idea solutions. The First Prize is 10,000 Euro. The Municipality of Stara Zagora, Bulgaria will commission the first ranked participant to develop a technical and detailed investment project.

Dobrich Municipality, Bulgaria and Optimistas are organizing an international architectural competition of the central city section of Dobrich, Bulgaria. The Municipality of Dobrich is pleased to invite all professionals, with a positive approach towards and interest in urban planning and design, to participate in an open and anonymous competition. More than 60,000 Euro will be awarded in the competition, of which 25,000 Euro are reserved for the best project and the 1st place prize. The 2nd place prize is 20,000 Euro and the 3rd place prize – 15,000 Euro.
