Sarajevo Film Festival and the Balkan Documentary Center are currently accepting entries for the second Rough Cut Boutique workshop for documentary filmmakers. The idea behind the SFF/BDC Rough Cut Boutique is to offer coaching, expert advice and access to decision-makers that can have crucial influence on moving the projects forward in their final stage. After the very successful start in 2011, the second RCB will take place between 9 and 12 July 2012.

Sarajevo Film Festival recently launched a new call for entries for emerging filmmakers from Southeast Europe to participate in Sarajevo Talent Campus. Sarajevo Talent Campus is a seven-day creative and networking platform for up and coming and talented film professionals eager to learn from established film professionals willing to share their knowledge, taking place during and closely linked to all parts of the Sarajevo Film Festival. The programme was launched in 2007 by the Sarajevo Film Festival and in cooperation with Berlin International Film Festival and Berlinale Talent Campus.
