Tapirulan Association opens registration for their 21st Illustrators Contest on the theme: FLOP. Any artist from any part of the world can enroll by sending an illustration in a square format. The theme of this edition is “Flop”: Probably of onomatopoeic origin, from the English language, the term flop indicates a fall, a thud, a sudden collapse and, figuratively speaking, a colossal failure. The first prize awarded by the jury is 3,000 Euro. The jury will select 52 illustrators for the exhibition at the Violin Museum in Cremona.

The theme of the 20th edition is “Voilà”, like the French word meaning “Here you go,” and “It’s finished”. The first prize awarded by the jury chaired by Gilles Bachelet is 3,000 Euro. The jury will select 52 illustrators for the exhibition at the Violin Museum in Cremona.

Tapirulan Cultural Association has recently announced its 10th annual illustration competition – Tapirulan Illustrators Contest 2015 – inviting illustrators around the world to participate. The theme for the 10th Tapirulan Illustrators Contest is set to “X” – X like the letter, X like the number 10 in Roman numerals, X like the unknown, X like goodness only knows what your wild imaginations will come up with. This time the organizers have raised 2,000 Euro + X for the winner of the Jury prize and 500 Euro + X for the Registered Subscribers’ prize. As in previous editions the chosen work will participate in the exhibition held in Cremona from December 2014 to January 2015, and in Genova-Nervi between March and June 2015. The selected works will be published in a catalogue and twelve (12) of the illustrations will be chosen for the 2015 Tapirulan Calendar.

The Tapirulan Cultural Association announces the ninth (2014) edition of its illustrators competition Calendar Duemila. Calendar Duemila 14 is themed “Eden” and open to any Italian or foreign artist, without limits to age. The organizers invite you to create illustrations in any techniques you prefer, while exploring the competition theme. A jury will select, 40 works to be published in a catalog and displayed on an exhibition. Among the 40 works selected, 12 will also be published within the annual Tapirulan calendar. A 2.000 Euro prize will also be awarded.
