Pastel Journal, America’s leading magazine devoted to pastel artists, has opened its 16th annual Pastel 100 painting competition for entries.
Offering cash, prizes and publicity to its talented winners, the Pastel 100 competition is open to artists from any part of the world, older than 16.
The best work will be awarded with $5,000 and all winners will be featured in the April 2015 issue of Pastel Journal.
Entries can be submitted in the following competition categories:
- Landscape & Interior
- Portrait/Figure
- Still Life/Floral
- Animal/Wildlife
- Abstract/Non-Objective
All winners will be notified by 31 October 2014. The results will not otherwise be made public until they are published in Pastel Journal (April 2015 issue).
Pastel 100 – 16th Annual Painting Competition Entry Fees
All early-bird entries – entries submitted before 1st August 2014 – cost $25 per image. Entries submitted after the 1 August 2014, cost $30 per image.
