The TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2022 invite all manufacturers, designers, sales representatives, importers and distributors in the bicycle industry to compete in the awards.
TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards is annually organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) as well as Taiwan Bicycle Association (TBA).
This year, the competition will be implemented by Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center (CHC). It is hoped that with the influence of TAITRA and TBA, more connections with the bicycle industry can be strengthened via CHC with its dedication to the bicycle industry for a long time as well as the experience of organizing the International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC) for twenty-four years. To take a step further, more innovative and creative entries can be submitted to this competition, and compete with other entries from countries all over the world.
Over the past two years, the whole world has been enormously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to maintain social distancing, bicycles have become the best vehicles for commuting. When cycling, bicycle riders can not only keep distance from others, but also enjoy the benefits of exercising and reducing carbon footprint. Governments all over the world have also been putting their efforts into building bicycle paths to provide riders a better riding environment. It can be seen that cycling is going to become a new lifestyle in the near future. By organizing and planning TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards annually, the organizers aim to provide an innovative platform for the bicycle industry.
2022 is the tenth TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards, which is definitely a significant milestone. Moreover, “Smart Cycling” and “Green Design” have both been enhanced and adjusted in the competition category this year, and hope that products with smart or green ideas could be encouraged to participate in the competition. All companies or individuals in the bicycle industry are welcome to compete with others to win the Gold Award in the TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2022.
