The 17th JEJU International PHOTO Contest is calling for entries. This global contest welcomes everyone who loves Jeju Island in South Korea.
This year, a new Short-Form Video category has been added, expanding the range of entries beyond photography.
The organizers invite you to share your memories and stories of Jeju with the world.
All types of photos are welcome: Digital, Film, Drone, or Mobile, in either Color or Black & White. The contest is open to Koreans and those of any nationality.
A total of 4,800,000 KRW (around $3,460) in prizes will be awarded to 14 winners.
Participants can submit a maximum of 5 works. A picture sequence or a set of pictures is considered as one piece of work.
The following prizes will be awarded as part of the 17th JEJU International PHOTO Contest.
- Grand Prize (1): 2,000,000 KRW with a certificate of merit
- Gold Prize (1): 1,000,000 KRW with a certificate of merit
- Silver Prize (2): 500,000 KRW each with a certificate of merit
- Bronze Prize (1): 300,000 KRW each with a certificate of merit
- Fine Work Prize (15): 100,000 KRW each with a certificate of merit (Incl. tax)
The contest is hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and The Dong-A Ilbo.
Through the contest the organizers hope you discover and spread the beauty of Jeju-Island around the world.
