The International Fine Art Photography Program has opened submissions for the 2013 competition, continuing its goal to celebrate fine art photography, discover new talent, and honor exceptional work. The competition extends an invitation to emerging and mid-career fine art photographers from around the world, with a final submission deadline of 12 May 2013.
The IFAP program also continues its tradition of a prestigious jury and significant cash awards and exposure for the finalists.
International Fine Art Photography Competition Expands Reach and Increases Cash Awards for 2013
The 2013 Grand Prix awards have been expanded to include cash awards for 1st ($2000), 2nd ($1000), and 3rd ($500) place in each of the seven categories:
- Abstract,
- Cityscape/Architecture/Urban Life,
- Experimental,
- Landscape/Seascape/Nature,
- People/Portraits,
- Still Life, and
- Street Photography/Documentary.
In addition, all seven 1st place winners will receive travel to Paris for the November awards ceremony and exhibition.
The winners of the competition will be selected by the jury in October, with the Grand Prix de la Découverte awards ceremony and exhibition held in Paris in November 2013. Following the exhibition, all finalists’ photographs will be accepted into the collection of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
Submission Fee
The submission fee is $24 per image per category.
