The Verzasca FOTO Association is accepting entries for its Nera di Verzasca Award – photography competition and invites all amateur and professional photographers, older than 18, to participate.
The competition theme is Open and both analogical (scanned from negative or slide) and digital images are allowed for submission. Photo stories with a minimum 3 and a maximum 10 photos should be submitted.
One 1st place prize winner will be awarded 2,000 Swiss Francs, a solo exhibition, 1st September — 1st November, 2016 in Sonogno, Switzerland and will be invited to the 2016 Verzasca FOTO Festival.
The organizers will also invite five finalists to project their work at the Verzasca Photo Night during the 2016 festival.
The Verzasca FOTO Festival is an annual event that offers open air exhibitions, photo nights with live music, meetings and workshops given by professional photographers.

The entry fee is 20 Swiss Francs (19 Euro).
