The Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe (YMFE) is seeking for talented musicians in Europe as part of its 2014/2015 Scholarship Program. This year marks the 26th iteration of the competition, with a total of forty-five (45) scholarships in thirty-one (31) countries to be awarded to full-time students.
In 2014/2015, the scholarships’ discipline is Brass.
As part of their application, participants are invited to submit two recorded pieces – no longer than 20 minutes – each one representing different style.
The main requirement in terms of eligibility is for applicants to be born after 1st January 1990 and reside in one of the thirty-one (31) countries selected for the competition.
Since 1990, YMFE has awarded scholarships worth more than 1 Million Euro in total to over 850 outstanding young musicians all over Europe.
