The transmediale Open Web Award is a new platform for radical, creative and innovative art works and projects that are on the web and about the web, use open and free technology and incite participation and/or collaboration.

They can be critical, celebratory or both.

In this framework, on October Kaleidoscienza organizes a one-day-event to promote thoughts and ideas on topics concerning the role of biodiversity in our lives.
Kaleidoscienza, in collaboration with Graphicplayers, announce an open call for the international exhibition: '2010 Bio-Graphics'.

The call '2010 Bio-Graphics' is open to graphic designers, professional or not, of any age and nationality. Participants are invited to submit their work dealing with the call topic in the form of a poster.

Positive Posters thinks Mr. Franklin had a nice way of looking at things. So the 2010 competition theme is "A Glass Half Full". For those who don't know, this saying refers to optimism. Some people see situations with optimism (Franklin – glass half full), and some see situations with pessimism (glass half empty).

Positive Posters would like you to design a positive poster in response to this year's theme. Judges will be looking for original concepts, lateral thinking and inspired designs. The poster will be up in Melbourne streets, so keep in mind it should also standout against the city landscape.
