The Federation of Canadian Artists has announced the competition for the 11th “Painting on the Edge” annual open international juried exhibition. The competition is open to all living artists worldwide featuring original paintings, printmaking and drawing media. Abstract, expressive, impressionist or realist styles are welcome.
The grand prize for this year’s competition is $2,000 and more prizes are yet to be announced.
Submitted entries must not be copies, derivatives, or based in any way on other copyrighted or published paintings, photographs or other artistic works and must not have been previously exhibited in any other FCA exhibition. Also, submitted work must be for sale!
The Federation of Canadian Artists was founded in 1941. It has over 2,000 members across Canada and around the world and mandates to support and promote the visual fine arts in Canada through education, exhibition and communication programs.
Entry Fees for Painting on the Edge #11
- $25 (Canadian dollars) per image for FCA members
- $30 (Canadian dollars) per image for non-members
