Stereohype launches its 16th annual Button Badge Design Competition (STBBDC), calling for fresh designs for 2020 from all parts of the world.
Entry is open to designers, artists, photographers, illustrators and students – including runners-up from previous competitions.
In 2020, Stereohype will award a total of six prizes – five main, and a special prize – and will award all kinds of printed goodies with the winning designs, books and more.
The competition is open in two categories: “Single Badge” and “Sets of 4”.
Last year, the 15th Competition accepted 425 entries by 146 individual designers. 60 designs were shortlisted and 30 were awarded.
Stereohype was founded October 2004 by Agathe Jacquillat and Tomi Vollauschek of the multi-disciplinary design studio FL@33 and exists as an international platform for both emerging and established talents.
In 2014 Stereohype celebrated its 10th anniversary with a large retrospective exhibition as part of London Design Festival and hosted by London College Of Communication (LCC), University of the Arts. The popular show was extended and ran for a whopping 8 weeks.
