Following the huge success of the first seven design competitions, Stereohype – the graphic art and fashion boutique – is now pleased to announce the 8th annual 1″ (25mm) Stereohype Button Badge Design Competition.
This competition is open to designers, artists, photographers, illustrators and students worldwide.

The 2012 Stereohype Button Badge Design Competition Is Now Open for Entries!
For the 8th annual Stereohype Button Badge Design Competition you’re required to download a badge template from the official website and create a unique single or set of maximum four designs from it. Your artwork(s) will have to be created by yourself and should obviously not infringe any copyrights!
Eligible are entries by designers, artists, photographers, illustrators and by students in any of these areas – including runners-up from previous competitions. NOT ELIGIBLE however are contributors to Stereohype’s B.I.O. (by invitation only) series and former competition winners who are now more than welcome to become part of the judging panel.
Stereohype will offer winners five main prizes within each of the two categories (‘single badge designs’ and ‘sets of four’). A shortlist of the most successful entries will also be featured at stereohype.com crediting the artists and designers.
The deadline to create and submit lovely, humorous and/or witty artworks for those cute little mobile canvases is Friday, 29 June 2012.
