The Youth Center in Banja Luka is organizing a logo design contest for professional designers, design students and amateur designers. Activities in the center are based on the support for local initiatives, in the field of youth activism, international exchange programs and co-production at a regional and a European level. Enthusiasts of photography are invited to send a maximum of 3 photographs – in digital format – to the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC). Picture This: We Can End Poverty is a global photo contest seeking to show — in a positive way — what people around the world are doing to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), eight goals agreed on by world leaders to halve extreme poverty by 2015. The winning photos will be exhibited during the UN MDG Summit and UN General Assembly in September, 2010 in New York, when world leaders will meet to recommit and redouble their efforts in the fight against extreme poverty. ObjectivePhotos with people in them, documenting their efforts to make positive changes to end extreme poverty around the world, are required. You may submit up to three different photographs, focusing on one goal.

The fourteenth international Holland Animation Film Festival will be held from 3 – 7 November 2010 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The festival is organized by the Holland Animation Film Festival Foundation.
