KINOKI is the International College Film Festival, which is held every year in February and is organized by students from the Universidad Iberoamericana, through the Department of Communication and the Film Studies area. Inspired by the ideology of Dziga Vertov, a pillar of Soviet cinema and creator of the kino-glaz or cinema-eye, KINOKI seeks to express a deeper truth through cinema than that which the human eye perceives. KINOKI was born with the commitment to give voice to young filmmakers around the world, providing a space to promote new audiovisual proposals.

The GNOME Foundation is pleased to announce the GNOME T-Shirt Design Contest! The GNOME 3.0 desktop environment is coming in April 2011 and the GNOME Foundation is looking for you to help design a t-shirt that celebrates the GNOME 3.0 release! The GNOME Foundation will then pick up to three winning designs. The GNOME T-Shirt Contest is designed to create up to three new designs for GNOME merchandise to be sold by the GNOME Foundation and promote the GNOME 3.0.
