The 12th International Poster Biennial of Mexico is now open for submissions! It is currently calling for new poster designs from around the world. Contestants may be design students, graphic designers, plastic artists, photographers and graphic producers in general, of any age and nationality, having posters printed between May 2010 and May 2012. The best posters will get international recognition and lots of prizes. The Biennial is scheduled for November, 2012.

Gallery 263 (G263) – a multi-purpose nonprofit art gallery in the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts – is accepting applications for its Summer 2012 Residency. 2D (painting, drawing, photography, etc.), 3D (sculpture, assemblage, etc.), video and installation proposals are being accepted for consideration. Participating artists will benefit by having full access to a versatile work space. The 28th international film festival, Interfilm is currently calling for submissions for the 2012 Berlin International Short Film Festival. New films no longer than 20 minutes can be submitted for inclusion in the 28th Festival’s program. Established in 1982, Interfilm has years of experience and a growing number of contacts in the international cultural and short film sectors. Interfilm’s goal is to search out skilled and creative filmmakers and bring their work together – presenting them in an international, culturally political framework in order to best facilitate the exchange of imaginative ideas.
