The Taipei City Government is inviting digital content designers around the world to enter the 2013 Taipei International Digital Content Awards. By holding this international competition, the organizer seeks to encourage digital content creators in Taipei and around the world, select outstanding creative works, raise the quality of the creations, and develop marketable products with the ultimate aim of stimulating the development of the digital content industry.
Forty-seven (47) awards, Honorable Mentions, and Business awards will be given in 2013, with monetary awards totaling at more than US $50,000!
Anyone around the world interested in digital content design is eligible to enter original published or unpublished creative work, created after 30 June 2011. Individual or group entries are allowed.
The central theme of the 2013 Taipei International Digital Content Awards is social concern and creating a model design city by providing new perspectives or resolutions through design and digital creativity.
This competition actually has two themes:
- Images of Taipei: entry depicts Taipei’s life and culture, distinguishing features and development of the city.
- Open theme, free of choice. Examples include cultural features, lifestyle, environmental protection and green energy, sustainable management, education, virtual reality, entertainment, etc.
