The Florida Museum оf Photographic Arts (FMoPA) is pleased to launch its 6th International Photography Competition, open to all photographers worldwide.
Entries can be submitted in seven (7) competition categories: People/Portraits, Places/Landscape/Drone, Nature/Science/Animals, Documentary/Social and Political Photojournalism, Still Life, Abstract Photography, and Conceptual Photography.
The Best in Competition Prize is a group exhibition at FMoPA (10–30 June, 2016) and $1,000 in cash. Additionally, there are three prizes per category and a People’s Choice Prize.
The winning photographs will be selected based on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact, and artistic merit.
The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is one of fewer than ten museums in the United States dedicated exclusively to photography and one of two such museums in the state of Florida. It is dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture.
FMoPA International Photography Competition 2016 Registration Fee
The registration fee is $10 (US) per submission.
