The program is open to architects and interior designers around the world who have created incredible projects in Hospitality. The LIV Awards program is an inclusive platform, pursuing exceptional projects within the living and eating spaces, from co- living, boutique hotels to beach resorts, from fine dining restaurants and lounges to pop-up bars. This annual program aims to celebrate Projects, People, and their passion for the industry, through our rigorous judging process, we recognize those that have gone above and beyond.

Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA) is hosting its International Student Poster Award competition for 2022 and invites participation by students worldwide. The theme for 2022 is “Voice”. Approximately 200 works will be selected and the following prizes will be awarded: Grand Prix (1), Gold (2), Silver (5), Bronze (10) and Jury Prize (7).

The Global Healthcare Illustration Awards (GHIA) competition seeks to attract and celebrate the best healthcare related images created by illustrators around the world, providing greater exposure for those who bring key topics relating to our ever-changing healthcare landscape to life. The aim of GHIA is to capture and celebrate all and any contributions made by the illustration community to all of those matters that relate to the promotion and preservation of life across our global communities. The best three illustrations will be awarded with £3,000 (Gold), £2,000 (Silver) and £1,000 (Bronze) respectably. 50 shortlisted entries and the winners will be exhibited in the London offices of Eradigm Consulting in November 2022.

Art On Climate is an international illustration competition held right across the world that aims to bring greater visibility to the issue of action against climate change. Participants are invited to submit original works on the theme of “climate change”. Any person aged 18 or above, from any location, is eligible to participate. A total of 12,000 Euro will be awarded to the best works. Customised award certificates will also be endowed to Champion, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up and Merit winners.

The Meitar Award for Excellence in Photography, a collaboration between PHOTO IS:RAEL and the Zvi and Ofra Meitar Family Fund, will be awarded for the seventh time this year to a photographer whose works demonstrate excellence in the field of photography. This year’s winner will receive a $14,000 grant for the publication of a solo exhibition at PHOTO IS:RAEL International Photography Festival. The winner will be announced in November 2022, and the exhibition will be shown in November 2023 at the 11th International Photography Festival. During the course of that year, the winner will work on the exhibition together with PHOTO IS:RAEL’s Chief Curator. All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of leading international professionals who specialize in the field of photography, art and culture. The judges will be expected to select a series or body of work which represents a distinct and compelling personal voice.

The Bucharest International Jazz Competition has opened registration for 2023 to all jazz instrumentalists, bands and vocalists, no older than 40. Bucharest International Jazz Competition is one of the most appreciated jazz events, by specialists and the public, the event being ranked among the first 3 European jazz competitions. The total amount of prizes for 2023 is 7,000 Euro, of which 1,200 Euro are reserved for the Grand Prize Winner.

Anima 2023, the Brussels Animation Film Festival, has opened the call for entries to its selection programmes for the 42nd edition of the festival. The Festival offers an official selection with national and international competition of short and feature films, as well as an information section (retrospectives, thematic programmes…). Anima is a qualifying festival for the Academy Award® for Best Animated Short Film organized by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Such anthropogenic disasters have disrupted the global economy and the well-being of people, making us wonder if the world will ever heal. Amid worldwide crises, can we take inspiration from resilient economies like Japan after the World War or Norway after the COVID pandemic? Can our creative community design resilient and sustainable systems for individuals, and society at community, national and international levels? These questions form the basic premise of this year’s theme at DXS’22.
