The 10th annual Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest has recently opened for entries for 2024. The annual competition is organized by Rossiya Segodnya media group to discover young talent among photojournalists aged 18 to 33. Sputnik news agency and radio is its international media partner. The top prize is 700,000 rubles ($7,588). The first, second and third places in the contest will fetch 125,000 rubles, 100,000 rubles and 75,000 rubles, respectively.

Athens Photo Festival 2024 (APhF:24) is now accepting submissions from artists and photographers for its exhibition program. Embracing a variety of cultural, artistic, social, and political perspectives, the Festival invites projects from the entire spectrum of the photographic medium, ranging from fine art, conceptual, documentary photography, and photojournalism to other media, including video, performance, and installation. In this way, the organizers seek to stimulate a critical dialogue that embraces a variety of expressive means, thematic areas, and approaches – from a traditional photography background to the most contemporary practices. Athens Photo Festival will feature the work of over 100 artists from all over the world. The selected works will be exhibited at the Benaki Museum / Pireos 138, one of the most prestigious museums in Greece.
