The 37th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition (CIFAC) is a wonderful opportunity for artists at any stage of their career to gain valuable exposure in the New York art scene.
The competition is open to visual artists from around the world. All entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
A distinguished panel of jurors will be awarding more than $70,000 in valuable prizes and the awarded works will be exhibited. Art submitted to the competition will be reviewed by a rotating panel of expert jurors, each representing a different field in the art world, ensuring a fair and balanced selection process.
$1,000 cash prize will be awarded to five (5) selected photographers and their work will be shown NY Art Competitions’ websites.
All visual artists worldwide over the age of 18 are eligible to participate.
Artists are invited to submit in any of the following mediums: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital, printing, and mixed media. Video art, film, performance art, jewelry, and crafts are not eligible for this competition.
There is no time frame in which work was created. The only parameters are that the work must be available during the competition exhibition dates and must be available for sale.
It is allowed to submit images of several artworks or multiple views of the same artwork, both options are acceptable.
The competition is hosted by New York Art Competitions (NYAC).
New York Art Competitions (NYAC) is a division of The New York Fine Arts Group, that was established in 1984 by the late Miki Stiles, an artist who wanted to break into the NY art market and opened her own gallery, Agora Gallery. Ever since, NY Art Competitions has been providing artists/with competition opportunities to benefit them in advancing in their careers and promoting their work to a greater audience.
