3×3 Magazine is calling for entries to its 21st annual International Illustration Awards Show, open to illustrators at all levels in all countries.
The competition is also open to art directors, graphic designers, educators, students, recent graduates, editors, publishers in all countries for commissioned, non-commissioned and personal work produced or published between March 2023 and the regular show deadline, 29 March 2023.
Best of Show winners receive $1,500 and all Gold medal winners receive 3×3 Collective Premium Membership. Best of Show, Gold and Gary Powell winners receive our distinctive 3×3×3-inch cube. The Gary Powell Student Award winner receives a $1,000 cash prize.
3×3 Magazine is looking for fresh ideas that enlarge the scope of illustration, images that engage us, that make us think, that make us appreciate more fully the craft of illustration. It celebrates those image-makers that are either on the brink of greatness or those who continue to prove themselves year after year.
AI-generated imagery is not not eligible for submission.
The 3×3 International Illustration Awards Show is considered to be one of the top three international shows for illustration. Last year’s judges reviewed entries from more than 50 countries for the professional show and 168 schools in the student show.
3×3 International Illustration Show No. 21 – Entry Fees
Entry fees start at $20 (US) and vary depending on the Show entered and the type of work submitted.
Entries uploaded after 29 March 2024 will be assessed a $10 per entry late fee.
