3×3, the first magazine devoted entirely to the art of contemporary illustration is calling for illustration works for its ninth Professional Show.
For the ninth annual show, 3×3 is calling all illustrators around the world. Entries can be submitted in 15 different categories, for almost any type of illustration works.
The Magazine will be awarding a $1500 cash prize for the Best of Show, plus cash-value prizes for the gold medal winners.
3×3 Magazine Judging the World’s Best Illustration in 2011
3×3 is the only true international competition for illustrators with nearly half the entries coming from outside the United States. It is open to all art directors, editors, designers and illustrators in all countries for commissioned and unpublished work produced in 2011.
Illustration works are being accepted in the following categories:
- Advertising,
- Animation,
- Books,
- Editorial,
- Editorial Spots,
- Fashion,
- Gallery,
- Graphic Novels,
- Institutional,
- Medical,
- Sci-fi,
- Self-Promotion,
- Sequential,
- Three-Dimensional,
- Unpublished.
3×3 Magazine will award Gold, Silver, Bronze and Distinguised Merit awards and a Best of Show Award. Best of Show winner’s will receive a cash prize of $1500, Gold Medal winners will receive a cash-value prize of $750.
