The 6th International Poster Biennial Lublin (IPBL) 2023 is calling for submissions to its poster exhibition competition.
The aim of the 6th International Poster Biennale Lublin (IPBL) 2023 is to review poster art from 2021 to 2023.
More than 23,000 PLN (~5,000 Euro) will be awarded in prizes, along with medals and diplomas. The post-competition exhibition will be presented from 17 June 2023 to 8 October 2023 at the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin.
IPBL 2023 includes 5 competition categories:
- Open category, unlimited thematically for professional artists (up to 3 posters can be submitted).
- Open category, unlimited thematically for students and graduates of all types of universities – works created during the period of study should be submitted (3 posters can be submitted).
- Thematic category TXT+ EXPERIMENT – a category open to all creators. Submit works related to the subject of typography (possibility of submitting 2 posters)
- 80 years of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin — a category open to all artists. The aim of this thematic category is to obtain high-quality works that will be used to promote UMCS (2 posters can be submitted).
- TRANSLACORE thematic category – a category open to all creators. The aim of this category is to popularise scientific research related to the process of mine-to-protein translation (2 posters can be submitted).
In each category, you can submit 2 to 3 works, made in any technique, in accordance with the technical parameters described in the IPBL 2023 regulations – available on the official website.
The International Poster Biennial in Lublin (IPBL) is an event of global importance, which has been held every two years since 2013. The Lublin biennale is dedicated to the design and art of the poster, attended by professionals, students of art faculties and everyone associated with art.
For 10 years, IPBL has been creating an opportunity for international dialogue between poster designers, art directors, graphic designers, art students and other creative professionals. The event also serves as a platform for designers to showcase their work and exchange ideas and opinions.
