The Association of Illustrators (AOI), in partnership with the Directory of Illustration, has opened its call for the 2018 World Illustration Awards.
Illustrators in any country working in any medium or content can enter work created between January 2017 and February 2018.
Awards include cash prizes for the Overall Winners, exhibitions, software, hardware, huge publicity and annual AIO memberships.
World Illustration Awards (WIA) include the following 8 categories for 2018:
- Advertising
- Books
- Children’s Books
- Design
- Editorial
- Site Specific
- Research
- Experimental
The World Illustration Awards are the most prestigious juried illustration Awards globally, respected by illustrators, agents and commissioners alike. The Awards receive over 2,000 entries from 60+ countries, showcasing the breadth of illustration being made around the world today.

- Single entry: 1 image or 1 moving image link: £25 / $33 / €30
- Multiple Entry: Up to 5 images (or combination of still and moving images): £45 / $60 / €54
