The 2023 BBA Photography Prize is now open for submissions and international photographers are invited to enter.
There are no limitation on theme or style of photography, experience or social/educational background.
20-25 selected shortlisters will exhibit in a group show at Kühlhaus Berlin, in October/November 2023. The first prize is 1,500 Euro + a solo show at BBA Gallery. Many other prizes are available as well.
This is an International open call to all photographers, above 18 years, all genders and nationalities. No restrictions on social, ethnic or educational background.
All work submitted must be available exclusive for sale throughout the exhibition and four weeks after if sales are made through BBA Gallery.
Visual excellence, storytelling, conceptual thinking, technical craftsmanship, subject depth, and understanding – these are just a few aspects that our jury of industry professionals will take into consideration. Whether you are a seasoned photographer with an existing track-record, a promising talent starting your journey, or simply enthusiastic about photography, the BBA Photography Prize 2023 is a great opportunity to show your work.
Since 2017, the BBA Gallery, Berlin, has been working with and empowering ‘emerging’ to ‘mid-career’ artists from all over the world.
BBA Photography Prize 2023 – Application Fees
The 2023 BBA Photography Prize application fee is 39 Euro by 15 May 2023. It is 10 Euro more, afterwards.
