ArtSceneToday.com, the online destination for emerging artists, is seeking artwork in any medium for its online competition, Coloring Outside the Lines… outsider art that goes beyond the mainstream art culture, explores issues in today’s world from a different perspective or reveals what is possible when you just don’t stay inside the lines.
This juried themed art competition recognizes excellence in the visual arts among emerging artists.
Open to all artists 18+ around the world with original works in any medium that addresses the competition theme.
Objective
The theme of this competition is: “Coloring Outside the Lines”. ArtSceneToday is seeking outsider art that goes beyond the mainstream art culture, explores issues in today’s world from a different perspective or reveals what is possible when you just don’t stay inside the lines.
Naive, folk, art brut, visionary and work by self-taught artists all accepted.
Prizes
- The 1st Place winning entry will be used as the front cover of the ArtSceneToday.com Exhibition Catalogue; be featured on homepage for 4 weeks and have an ongoing Profile Page.
- The 2nd Place winning entry will be used on the back cover of the ArtSceneToday.com Catalogue; be Featured on homepage for 3 weeks and have an ongoing Profile Page.
- The 3rd Place winning entry will be featured on homepage for 2 weeks and have an ongoing Profile Page.
Rules
- Coloring Outside the Lines Competition is open to all artists 18 and over from around the world with original works in any medium that addresses the theme.
- Images must be submitted in JPG format, 72 DPI, no larger than 450 wide or 575 high pixels.
- If selected for the Exhibition Catalogue, high resolution images, 300 DPI and no larger than 10MB in size, must be submitted for inclusion.
