The Edinburgh Short Film Festival (ESFF) has opened it’s call for entries for the 2016 edition. Short films in all forms, genres and techniques completed since January 2014 can now be submitted.
The best submissions for 2016 will be included in the Festival’s short film programming for other festivals across the UK and Internationally during 2016, being screened as well as, at the Edinburgh Short Film Festival in October-November 2016.
ESFF is now also offering the Rising Star Award for the most promising filmmaker with a cash prize, tickets to film festivals, offers of work and the Rising Star Trophy sponsored by the Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund.
The maximum duration for submitted films is 20 minutes including credits.
ESFF 2016 is scheduled for 26th October—6th November, 2016. Last year the Festival screened 71 short films from 23 countries.
Edinburgh Short Film Festival 2016 Entry Fee
The submission fee is £15 (20 Euro) per short film.
Discounts are available for institutions, colleges/universities and distributors making bulk entries of 5 or more films.
