FOTOFILMIC17 – the 5th edition of the FotoFilmic International Traveling Exhibition Competition, is open for submissions.
It is the world’s only global scale call for contemporary material photography presenting a unique and challenging worldview of 21st century’s photographic arts rooted in analog, historical and film-based practices.
This year, the best work will be awarded with the $1,500 Buschlen Mowatt Nichol Foundation 1st Place Award. The $500 BEAU Photo Award is reserved for the second best work. Additional prizes will also be awarded to the 3rd, 4th and 5th best entries.
Photographers of all nations aged 18+ are invited to submit their best work and photo books, shot either on film in any format or captured analogically.
The competition theme is open and up to 10 images (individual images or series) and 1 Photo Book per entry are allowed for submission.

- Exhibition call submission: $50 (up to 10 images)
- Exhibition + Book call submission: $70 (up to 10 images + 1 Photo Book)
