James Dyson Award 2020 – Student Competition

James Dyson Foundation is accepting entries for 2020, for its annual international student design competition — the James Dyson Award.

This design award celebrates, encourages and inspires the next generation of design engineers all around the world.

Two awards of $35,000 each will be awarded to the International and the Sustainability winner. In addition, International runners up and a National winner will be selected.

The competition is open to current and recent design engineering students — product design, industrial design and engineering students.

The James Dyson Award is administered and run by the James Dyson Foundation, an international charity dedicated to encouraging young people to realize their engineering potential.

Since its inception in 2005, the competition has awarded over £800,000 in prize money to young engineers and designers. This has enabled one in five of its past winners to successfully commercialize their inventions.
