The La Guarimba International Film Festival is calling for short film entries for 2021 on any theme by filmmakers from all parts of the world.
La Guarimba International Film Festival is seeking for Fiction, Animation, Documentary, Experimental films and Music Videos, as well as Children’s Animation of any nationality and language.
The selection for 2021 will include around 70 films that will be selected to be screened at the festival and will be part of the competition. The best Fiction, Documentary and Animation films will each be awarded with 800 Euro and a trophy. The best Music Video will also be awarded and a special Audience Award will be announced. In addition, the organizers in partnership with UNICEF Italia will create La Grotta dei Piccoli Children’s Animation program with more than 100 films selected in a competition program for children.
Only films produced after 1st January 2019 are eligible for submission. Film format is not limited and any filmmaker may enter with more than one entry.
The ninth edition of La Guarimba International Film Festival will be held from 7th to 12th August 2021 in Amantea, Calabria, the wildest region of Italy.

The submission fee starts at 10 Euro and varies depending on the submission category, as well as the submission deadline.
