The LCM 2013 conference (Life Cycle Management conference) is calling for contributions for its upcoming packaging exhibition.
The Conference is hosting a design contest, through which students, professionals or the industry can show ways in which life cycle thinking can be applied to packaging and product design.
The aim is to exhibit during the conference examples of products that increase consumer awareness and behavior in line with life cycle thinking.
Taking Life Cycle Thinking Home – Packaging as Mean of Consumer Information
This design contest embraces both realized and concept stage products. The exhibits will be chosen by an international independent committee.
Contributions showing new/innovative design solutions, encouraging life cycle thinking and/or having the potential to lead to real changes in consumer behavior will be prioritized. A selection of the best submissions will be exhibited during the LCM2013 conference at the Post Hotel in Gothenburg, Sweden and best contribution award will be given to the most prominent student work.
The exhibition is open for contributions from students and researchers as well as companies and non-commercial organizations.
